It's almost Super Bowl Time!

I will start off by saying that I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan. Have been one for quite a long time. I also like the Philadelphia Eagles. My father is from Pennsylvania and his siblings still live there. So, in short, I'm actually okay with whoever wins the big game! But seriously, Go Chiefs! LOL

So, that aside, I just sent off a couple packages to my brother with things I made for him and his family inside. I made a large (not huge, but pretty good sized) no sew blanket for my sister-in-law. I couldn't find fleece by the yard with images of Marilyn Monroe on it, so I purchased a simple throw blanket off Amazon with a picture of a neon rainbow colored image of Marilyn on it and used that to make the blanket. I watched a YouTube video years ago and learned how to do a no sew blanket that looked braided instead of the typical tied version. They have two small children (one almost 1 and the other almost 3) so I didn't want fringe on the blanket. It looks really nice with the braided edge and it is actually very easy to do.

I also included two stuffed animals I made. A fox and a mouse. I purchased the patterns off of Etsy from a seller called Bearpattern. Her patterns are amazing, and she is very talented. Definitely check her shop out if you like making stuffed animals!

I found another shop on Etsy called DakerGirlDesigns, where she has so many interesting products that she makes. I got a gnome to give to my brother. Now just a gnome is nothing spectacular, but she made one for me with the Philadelphia Eagles logo on the hat after I sent her a question about if she could do it. She was quick to respond and very polite. She was able to do what I asked and I very so happy about it. I felt the price of $30 was well worth it. The gnome is also holding a flag that says "#1 Fan", which is so cute. Looking at her shop, she does seem to make a large variety of gnomes in different patterns, not just NFL themed. They are all really cute and she does great work! Well worth the look.

The packages I sent this time to my brother just arrived a few minutes ago (got an alert of my phone), so I'm waiting to either get a call or a message from my brother.
