Trying something new

I'm working on developing my website domain and my blog. I'm a newbie! I'm also over 50 (*gasp*). It's been suggested that I make videos on YouTube, covering things I do such as cooking, baking, and making various crafts (lately, I've made a few stuffed animals with fleece material). I don't think I want to, at least not yet. I'm not sure how I'd make videos anyone would want to see! How could I be unique? Maybe I will one day, but probably only if I can find family or friends who would be willing to help! LOL

So right now, I'm just going to write. Probably create some photo albums to showcase my creations. I do love taking pictures and I love to share things I make. Seems like a win to me! I will be sharing where I find recipes I liked and made, as well as where I find items such as patterns or products I have purchased (either for myself or as a gift). It anyone is looking for that idea or item, I'm more than happy to share where I found it so the creator can get proper credit and maybe another sale!

I only ask for patience as I navigate this new world for myself.
